Are your products safe to use on fabrics?
We recommend testing an inconspicuous area of the fabric before spraying. When distributed in a fine mist (e.g., ionoMAX Mister, ionopure Purity System, etc.), it is rare for fabric discoloration to occur. Hypochlorous is an oxidant, made with salt and water, and therefore we suggest being careful to place the Purity Unit away from sensitive electronics, bare metal, and fabrics (e.g., drapes, couches, carpet or clothes). When over-sprayed or accidentally spilled, ionopure products may cause discoloration on some fabrics.
Are your products safe to use around electronics?
Water and electronics don’t play well together and ionopure products are mostly water, so we do not advise spraying around electronics.
Is your packaging sustainable for the environment?
We provide refill pouches for all ionopure products to refill our spray bottles. So no spray bottle should ever have to be thrown away.
What is hypochlorous acid (HOCl)?
ionopure products are produced with technology that uses a gentle electrical current to change the molecular structure of a simple saltwater solution. The result? One of the most powerful cleaners on the planet – Hypochlorous acid. Our laboratory acute toxicity testing also indicates it is non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Our solutions are perfectly balanced to utilize the full force of their constituent elements while keeping you safe and providing pure clean.
Is the Purity Aerosolizing Unit safe to use around electronics?
We recommend placing the Purity Aerosolizing unit as far away from the fans in electronic devices as possible. We continuously use the Purity in our offices which house some very sophisticated computers and, following our own advice, we have had no problems.A NOTE OF CAUTION: Often, highly sensitive electronic equipment (e.g., medical scanners, copy machines, server racks….) are housed in their own area. DO NOT PUT A PURITY DEVICE IN THOSE ROOMS. Purity Air is composed of water and a salt-based oxidizing solution and concentrated, direct exposure to such devices is not recommended.
